SWE Space Coast Scholarships

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Space Coast Scholarship Program supports women from Brevard, Indiana River, and Volusia county who will be pursuing an ABET-accredited bachelor program in preparation for careers in engineering, engineering technology and computer science. SWE Space Coast Scholarships are awarded annually based on academic merit, demonstrated leadership, and potential for success in engineering.
To be eligible for a SWE Space Coast Scholarship, an applicant must:
All applicants must submit their general information through our online application form. In addition, the following documents must be emailed to the SWE Space Coast Scholarship Chair by the deadline.
The online application form, current school transcript, supplemental information document, and letter of recommendation are due no later than 5pm EST on April 30.
Documents must be emailed to the SWE Space Coast Scholarship Chair by the deadline. There will be no exception to the deadline.
Applications will be reviewed by a panel of SWE members from the Space Coast Professional Section. Scholarship winners will be notified via email in mid-May.

- Identify as female/woman.
- Reside in Brevard, Indian River, or Volusia County currently.
- Plan to major in an ABET-accredited engineering, computing, or engineering technology program in the upcoming academic year.
- Not be fully funded for tuition, fees, and books or equivalent.
All applicants must submit their general information through our online application form. In addition, the following documents must be emailed to the SWE Space Coast Scholarship Chair by the deadline.
- Current school transcript.
- An official transcript sent from your school is required.
- Supplemental information document. Click here to access document.
- Add information to the sections in this document.
- Keep formatting adjustments to a minimum.
- Use the file name LastName_FirstName_Supplemental.
- Letter of Recommendation
- Provide a letter from a reference that speaks to your potential in engineering.
